The SAFE Place

A resource center for sexual violence prevention and crisis intervention. We serve the campus community in the areas of sexual assault, domestic violence, sexual harassment and stalking.


Health Promotion & Wellness

Health Promotion & Wellness is a new unit within Student Affairs & Enrollment Management that provides health education for the SF State community through campus health initiatives and programming. Our focus areas include alcohol, tobacco and other drugs, mental health, nutrition, men's health, sexual health, and sexual violence prevention. We work to achieve health equity and enhanced academic, personal, and professional success for all members of the campus community.


Student Health Services

The mission of SF State Student Health Services (SHS) is to provide accessible and cost-effective quality medical care for all registered students at SF State. SHS strives to work with students to enhance lifelong health and wellness, facilitate retention and graduation, and to reduce systematic health disparities related to human and cultural diversity.
